My experiment of spot cleaning the carpet with white vinegar and water didn't turn out so well. As it turns out, whatever that spot is on the carpet, white vinegar and water are not about to get it out. Although my quest to use vinegar, water and baking soda to clean the entire apartment is still on, this spot isn't one of those areas.
The quest continues...
By the way, this picture has nothing to do with vinegar, MacGiver or carpet stains, I just thought this post needed a picture. I am peeking through a piece of the USS San Francisco that was destroyed by the Japanese in the Guadalcanal. (That's my history lesson for the day.)
