Sometimes it's good to remind myself that I live near this:

and then I feel lucky and thankful... because living by the bay is pretty neat.

...and if I were the least bit daring, I could drive a boat like this one below.  But I'm not daring. Not in the least.  Especially not when it involves water and rip currents and waves and sharks.  Nope, not for me.  I like to stay on the shore and admire. 

And with views like these, I could admire all day long.

These pictures were taken in the Tiburon.  A cute, little town that I'd been suggesting to Mike that we check out, and I'm sure glad we did.
