So for the second installment of wine on Wednesday...we have Clos du Val...this one was so not memorable I had to check out what we said in our wine journal to write this post....yes it was THAT good! HA! AnnE's take:
[3 stars] Drinkable but not the best. More expensive than what I would normally buy (i.e. over $10 is typically out of my league). Because of that, I don't think it's worth buying again.
Mike's take:
[2 stars] Drinkable but had a vanilla taste that I didn't care for.
So there you have it, a pretty little label on an expensive wine with a bit too much vanilla.
