Saturday morning we decided it would be a great idea to walk around the local reservoir. it was a great idea when sitting on the couch in the air conditioning, that is. but we got out, walked the 2 mile loop in 106 degree temperatures and proceeded to spend the rest of the day drinking 14 gallons of water. On our way to park at the reservoir a LARGE turkey tried to hitch a ride up the hill in our car. 106 degrees is simply too hot for us and the turkeys. today we are going to a movie. much better idea.
