Paris: Nord

oh man! I was blogging at such a consistent rate for a bit there, we were really moving along quite swimmingly, wouldn't you say?...and then things got quiet. whoops. I dropped the proverbial ball. Well, not anymore! I'd love to show you more vacation photos, however I'd hate for them to dwell on and on into the holiday season. So, let's get to it.
Next up: Paris

We loved traveling by train...the ease of traveling between countries, the architecture in a lot of these train stations was unbelievable (if only I would have pulled my camera out more often), the food in the first class cabins of some trains is delicious! Hello pastries!

There is, however, one thing that we learned from our travels throughout Europe:
Do NOT bring a suitcase that doesn't work to begin with and then think that you can haul it up and down the stairs of the train stations without cursing...It was not a pretty sight.  By the end of the trip, the handle to pull the suitcase was only popping up about 3 inches high.  A midget would have been better suited to pull this suitcase.

Next time: Use a backpack, 10 grocery store plastic bags or just plain old pack less.  Any option would worked out better.

These pictures were taken at Paris Nord train station, just after we got off the Eurostar from London.
